Handbuilt sheeps skull in stoneware with casted horns in white stoneware and red earthenware.

Skulls are often depicted in art - a symbol of the temporary nature of life and worldly possession. Sheep and animal remains are as much part of the mountain landscape as the rocks and heather. I enjoyed the challenge of recreating this piece based on a skull and rams horns collected from my hillwalking adventures.
