Kilkenny Sustainable Art Show 2025

Delighted to have two 2 of my pieces selected for the Kilkenny Sustainable Art Show 2025.

This exhibition is on display in the An Chéad Tine Art Gallery< Kilkenny from 10–25th May as part of the Living Earth Rising Bealtaine festival and in partnership with National Biodiversity Week and Kilkenny County Council. It features works from various disciplines; weaving with natural fibres, films reflecting our changing ecosystems, printing and painting with plant-based inks, biodiversity-themed paintings, sculptures from natural materials, installations, artist books, and poetry.

My two pieces explore our paradoxical relationship with the natural world. 

'Exterior and Interior 1' is made using a piece of bark from a felled tree combined with porcelain interior cast from wallpaper with stylised leaf design. 

'Rewilding 2' features concertina panels of porcelain paperclay with wallpaper foliage pattern overlaid with overtaking branches and twigs.
